Due to the close proximity to our lively new bar and lounge, The FIFTH, any room located in the new building (which includes suites, luxury, and luxury view rooms) are subject to additional noise from events hosted by The FIFTH. To ensure that our guests are able to get a rejuvenating night's rest, most nights these events will finish at 23:00 or earlier. On weekends, the entertainment can go a bit later, ending at 0:00. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

國民黨立委盧秀燕23日向黨內明確表態，將爭取參選台中市長，她表示，相信國民黨一定會採取一個公平的機制，至於也有意參選台中市長的國民黨立委江啟臣則說，「願意承擔都是好事。」

對此，民進黨團書記長、台中市立委何欣純24日表示，「我們以不變應萬變，台中市長林佳龍執政做的很好，民調一直持續在上升，他又是現任，民進黨主席蔡英文也宣示過，以現任者為優先，民進黨這邊沒有提名的問題，就是林佳龍。」
何欣純說，以林佳龍現在執政的成績，絕對可以贏過在野黨，絕對有信心，穩紮穩打，一定可以連任成功。
